Nicola's Aura Botanica Review
I’ve got fine hair that has recently been stripped and dyed, so this range is fantastic. For one it smells gorgeous, the smell when you are in a spa!Nicola told us: I used the concentrate as an overnight mask, which in retrospect wasn’t the right thing to do for my fine hair as it's a little heavy. However, in the morning I used the shampoo & conditioner. The shampoo is sulphate-free and the sulphates have been replaced with 'natural origin surfactant agents'. In plain English, that means the shampoo doesn't contain the usual chemicals that make it lather. Having said that, I did find it created lots of foam when I used it which goes to show the natural ingredients work just as well.It took less time to blow dry my hair (a big thumbs up in the morning!) My hair is super shiny, feels soft to the touch right down to the tips and feels really conditioned. My hair has definitely benefited from the range and I've had so many positive comments from the Team - and all after just one use!

Fiona's Aura Botanica Review
I've always wanted to get into Kérastase. I love the idea of elevating haircare products to skincare products and the focus on scent & texture. However I've struggled to find the right range for me. In terms of skincare I favour natural brands but with a focus on science/results, so on paper the Aura Botanica range seems ideal (and who doesn’t want hair like Toni Garrn…)
Fiona told us: Following the instructions for all hair types I applied the Concentre Essentiel as a pre shampoo, leaving it in for ten minutes before getting into the shower, I then shampooed twice with the Bain Micellaire. On the first shampoo the treatment came out fairly easily but there was very little lather, on the second it lathered beautifully which was pleasantly surprising given the sulphate-free formula. I followed up with the Soin Fondamental which went on easily, rinsed out easily and left my hair feeling smooth and tangle free. The scent was divine, spa like, uplifting and citrusy - a good way to start the day :)
After towel drying I spritzed with the Essence D’Eclat before combing through. My hair was relatively tangle free and felt smooth to the touch. I followed up with my usual cursory blow dry before smoothing on some Elixir Ultime and pulling into a top knot for half an hour to create a bit of wave.
Fiona's Verdict
My hair looks and feels great. It really does feel light, and has a good glow which brings out my highlights. Of all the Kérastase ranges I have tried this is definitely the one for me and will become my hair care regime of choice! If I had to say anything negative … I’m not sure what the Concentré adds for my hair type so will leave this out next time and perhaps use it infrequently as I would a hair masque.
