Presenter, author, environmentalist and farmer, Kate Humble is well known to most of us. Based on a working farm in Monmouthshire, when she isn't travelling the world, writing books or presenting on TV, Kate runs courses in cookery, rural skills and animal husbandry. Being so dedicated to the natural way of life, it's no surprise she's now turned her focus to the beauty products we use in our daily lives.

The production of HUMBLE beauty products didn't happen overnight - it took 3 years of research to create a range of products that were kind to the environment, safe for the whole family and wonderful to use. By nature, the products had to be humble, but not utilitarian and uninspiring.

I’ve looked everywhere for a range of products that are natural and biodegradable, but, just as importantly, look, smell and feel wonderful to use. I drew a blank so I decided to develop a range of products myself - Kate Humble

Each of the products in the HUMBLE range carries the HUMBLE promise: containing natural, biodegradable ingredients, they don't contain any parabens or SLS. They're highly biodegradable and so, once the products are washed into the water system, they break down quickly which means less damage to the environment. Wherever possible, HUMBLE products are in recyclable packaging and use recycled materials. British made and British grown are also key to the HUMBLE range, with the team sourcing UK ingredients as much as possible, to reduce carbon footprint and environmental damage.

Kate also believes we should know exactly what's in the products we use. For that reason, she's created the HUMBLE glossary which lists all ingredients in HUMBLE products together with their uses.
