Floris London Santal Eau de Toilette Spray 100ml

This stuff smells amazing usually buy creed thought I would try something different and what can I say it’s amazing 

The fragrance overview on this website is an exact description for this scent. Even though the name is ‘santal’ the scent opens with bergamot, grass and lemon notes and santalwood in its base. However in the drydown the woodiness slowly unveils. A really different and pleasant take on santalwood scent profile. Definitely a signature scent worthy. Unisex and don’t expect massive performance, 4-5 hrs maximum. Overall Loved this one!!

I don't usually blind buy, but this one I did, for several reasons, the main reybeing that I just absolutely love sandalwood. I also have a fondness for any British or German heritage brands when it comes to clothes and such, so why not try this Floris as the price was also really good. It's not exactly what I was hoping for and what I thought after reading several reviews. The opening is not at all pleasant, quite sort of clinical I find. Thank God that quickly leaves and it starts smelling like green grass. It then gradually transforms into a very pleasant and clean kind of sandalwood. The scent is very nice , but has no sillage and does not last for very long. It is also quite classic, so it's not anything that will make heads turn. It will work very well as an everyday/office scent and I don't regret the blind-buy, but I did expect more from a house like Floris and it's unlikely that I'll buy it again.
